While we don't offer in-house financing, we're more than happy to assist you and your preferred lender with any information needed to secure funding for the importing process. HOWEVER: Please note that most banks/lenders are unable to process automotive loans for vehicles in another country. Due to the special circumstance, most clients who use financing, process funding through a personal loan with their bank.

In the United States, foreign vehicles (non-USDM) must be at least 25 year or older from the current date to be legally imported and registered. Special circumstances do apply for temporary and military vehicles, however we do not assist with these cases unless you already have all the legal documentation needed.

Our standard import brokering service fee is $600 for standard size vehicles, $500 for kei vehicles, and variable for oversized vehicles such as campers, tow trucks, and commercial vehicles. Standard service comes with complimentary start-to-finish assistance on self port pick up and titling the vehicle in your state. Inquire for all details about what comes with service.

We also offer full import brokering services which includes picking up your vehicle from port and titling it on your behalf. Price varies, inquire for an estimate.

Yes in almost all states. While some states have strict regulations on kei vehicles or a specific model (e.g. Maine's laws prohibit Mitsubishi Delica models), it's legal to drive the majority of imported vehicles as long as federal regulations and document handling have been followed. Check with your local tax office or Department of Motorized Vehicles beforehand to insure registration is possible. Texas (our home state) has no restrictions on any 25yr+ imported vehicle.

You'll need the Export Certificate and Custom's paperwork that comes with the car after purchase. Some states may require notarized documents. Our standard import brokering service includes notarization and complimentary start-to-finish assistance on titling the vehicle in your state. We also offer additional services including titling the vehicle on your behalf, if you'd like us to handle the entire process.

CIF (cargo, insurance, freight) is the auction price you pay for the vehicle + the other fees to export your vehicle from Japan to the U.S. port. Expect a couple to several thousand USD for the freight/shipping alone. The CIF total depends on the auction price paid, cubic size, and location of the vehicle in Japan. The rest of the costs include port/wharfage fees, U.S. Customs, titling/registration, transport if needed, and our fee.

Commercial automotive auctions are fast paced. Upcoming vehicle options are posted within a short window before they're scheduled to go live. A vehicle is usually listed anywhere between less than 12 hours to 3 days before it goes live for any potential buyer to place a bidding amount above the seller's reserve. Within this short time frame before it's live, potential buyers may look over the auction photos and inspector notes to decide if they want to bid. If so, a pre-set retainer (bidding amount) is placed before the vehicle goes live. Live auctions last about 45-60 seconds for all bids to be placed and the highest bidder determined.

Shipping takes between 9-14 weeks from after the vehicle has been purchased.
